Team Eye strikes again! Started strong and kept the momentum through the weekend. Team Eye secures their third Bryder Bowl in four years with stellar efforts from the whole team. Cody Matthews & Marcus Burns become the first people to secure three Bryder Bowl’s. Mitch Leblanc was our lone rookie in the field this year and he did not disappoint as the tournament’s highest scoring player. Along with that distinction he also secured the Spark Plug. Way to go Mitch!
Again this year it would come down to the final session to determine the winner but Team Why’s backs were against the wall. They would only be able to surrender half a point to give themselves a chance. Next year Team Why will be looking to no doubt avenge their loss and always seem to show great resilience.
2025’s edition of the JBC Invitational was without a doubt it’s best yet and is quickly becoming a can’t miss weekend in everyone’s schedule. We are on to 2026!

Team Why locks down their first ever Bryder Bowl with a dominant performance. After the Friday sessions Team Eye left themselves hope but with a poor performance in Session 3, the writing was on the wall. Team Eye would need to sweep Session 4 to retain the Bryder Bowl. Ultimately Team Why prevails in Session 4, 5-1 to secure an overall victory.
Another great year for our rookies and congratulations truly to all involved. 72 holes in 48 hours is a lot to ask of our participants but everyone had fun and maintained focus throughout the whole tournament! Honorable mention to our Spark Plug winner, Chris Ackroyd, who took time out of his busy schedule to walk 9 holes with the participants. Much appreciated by all and we are on to 2025!

Team Eye retains the Bryder Bowl through hard work and determination! The final score was Team Eye 15.5 to Team Why 8.5. With a couple story lines throughout the weekend it is of note that we had only one match that ended with a half point. Chris Ackroyd will be looking to avenge his second year in a row of not being able to put his hands on the Bryder Bowl. It was a great year for our rookies. All great additions who kept vibes high all weekend and were just an all round good time.

Team Eye wins 8.5 - 7.5 over Team Why in a dramatic final hole between Marcus Burns and Andrew Hardaker. The putter that is now proudly displayed affixed to the Bryder Bowl played a significant role in securing the victory for Team Eye. This set the tone for all years to come and gave us our first iconic moment to look back on in future years.
